The banking partnership between Thomas Mellersh, James Moline and James Weale came into existence on 20 September 1808 and was dissolved on 6 April 1814 (see Chancery Proceedings C13/175/53): ‘a great number of notes bearing the name of your orator is represented as still belonging to the same firm of Mellersh, Moline and Weale and consequently your orator is liable to be called upon to pay his part or proportion thereof and by which outcome he will be in danger of losing a considerable sum of money’. She was buried at Godalming on 5 Apr 1822 and he d. at Bath (P.C.C. will dated 3 Aug 1832 and proved 16 Nov 1836) and was buried at Godalming on 22 Aug 1836 having had issue:

He was killed in action during the Battle of Loos on 7 Oct 1915 while serving as a Gunner with D Battery, 62nd Brigade, R.F.A., having had issue: 2 sons and 6 daus.
