Mr. Charles John Goodman

The death took place at a nursing home in London, on Saturday, of Mr. Charles John Goodman, of Temple House, Oxted, Surrey, second son of the late Mr. J. D. Goodman, of Edgbaston, well-known to an earlier generation as the head of Messrs. Scholefield, Goodman and Sons, exporters. Mr. Goodman, who was 79, was a member of the same firm and for some years had charge of their London office. He retired in 1912.

Mr. Goodman’s brother, Mr. F. B. Goodman, of Farquhar Road, Edgbaston, senior member of the same firm, has been actively associated with the public life of Birmingham and has been a magistrate since 1880.
